About the 2013 Honda Ridgeline

For a sporty looking pick-up truck that meets the needs of both city driving and weekend getaways, many drivers are looking toward the 2013 Honda Ridgeline. It features a unique design based on its exclusive In-Bed Trunk, which is a locking compartment hidden and secure under the rear cargo bed floor.

Under the hood is a 250-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 247 pound-feet of torque. This engine is combined with five-speed automatic transmission, Honda's variable Torque Management four-wheel drive system (VTM-4), and a limited-slip lockable rear differential. The locking rear differential is essential to providing the reliable four-wheel drive Honda promises. A trailer hitch is also standard, boasting a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

While it may look sleek and stylish, the 2013 Honda Ridgeline was made to haul. The Steel-Reinforced Composite (SRC) cargo bed, stronger than steel and resistant to dents, is specially designed to secure up to 1,100 pounds of cargo. The five foot bed has eight heavy-duty tie-down cleats to secure anything. The dual-action tailgate also gives flexibility and makes loading and unloading easier. Because the wheel arches barely encroach on the bed space, drivers can fit a plethora of items inside like a large ATV or a thick stack of plywood.

It is offered in four trim levels: the base RT, Sport, RTS, and RTL. The rear seats feature a multi-functional 60/40 split for a versatile seating and cargo area. The top-of-the-line RTL can be outfitted with an optional moonroof and voice-activated navigation system, including rearview camera and Bluetooth hands free connectivity.
